In 1993, the Hoghton introduced its now annual series of Autumn Concerts, which have become a very welcome fixture with audiences and members alike. These concerts are 'different' in that they are sometimes costumed and semi-staged. The concerts go 'on tour' to various locations around Southport, Crosby and Maghull.

The Hoghton also regularly performs concerts for local churches, charities and on a number of occasions has been invited to provide the chorus support for professional soloists - ex members of the D'Oyly Carte and members of Welsh National Opera.
